Today we had the first class with Lauriston Year 4 schoolchildren!
From not knowing what the word curator meant, the children went on to select and organise their objects, and construct a narrative that stuck them together. What a curating exercise!
From a same set of around 50 objects, the groups of pupils explored a variety of meanings that could bring their objects together: a biographical account of a girl from a different time, a historical investigation of Old Constantinople, an evolution of technology and much more!
